My son 20 yr son was sent to the emergency room on Christmas day of 25. He had a life threatening brain bleed and needed emergency surgery. I am very thankful to all the neuro surgeons who helped to save his life. Even In ICU, all the nurses were so caring and kind to me and my family. I am so grateful for all the care me and my son received here. Thank you for helping my son be here for days to come. The only thing I am not proud about is their security company. My son was able to leave the hospital before his discharge date by leaving the building in a hospital gown, hospital socks and a hoodie in very cold weather. I spent a month in this hospital and know there are security guards at every exit and entrance to the hospital. Most guards are either talking amongst themselves or looking at their phones. I dont accept anyone to tackle my son, but considering they are walking out in hospital clothes, that should be a sign that they are trying to leave the hospital and should atleast be stopped and asked for discharge papers. Especially considering it was about 15 degrees outside. Security sucks here!!!!!

UI Health provides high-quality medical care in a modern, well-equipped facility. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, and take the time to explain treatments and answer questions, which makes patients feel supported and informed. Appointments are generally well-organized, and the environment is clean and comfortable. I felt confident in the level of care I received, and the nurses and doctors were attentive and compassionate throughout my visit. Overall, UI Health is a reliable healthcare provider that prioritizes patient care. I would recommend it to anyone seeking thorough and professional medical services.

My dad was admitted here a week ago. The nurses have been kind and help. But one nurse on 5 east floor has been exceptional. Shout out to Nurse Johncui. She has been extremely helpful. She got my dad to eat and do things to make him get better. She is a blessing and I appreciate her service. She was very respectful to my dad and I. She is a true treasure in this profession.

Best and most caring staff I’ve ever had at a hospital ever. Stayed for a 4 day EMU. Special shout out to: - lily (nurse) Took such good care of me on my first night and made sure I understood everything. Never made me feel bad for pressing the call button. - Diego (TECH) Recommended a great show, consistently walking me through the process, really kind - Carolina (Nurse) always made sure I was comfortable, extremely personable and professional - Gemma (Nurse) Sweetest soul to be on this planet. Kept me calm after episodes and was very gentle. Extremely knowledgeable. - Paul (Nurse) Literally my carbon copy, amazing bedside manners, incredibly thorough. Always wrote things on the board, checked in on me without me calling. Overall, as a transgender male I have never experienced such kindness from a hospital staff before. Praying for the whole staff to make a reasonable and respectable wage in the future. Extremely underpaid, but never made me feel like a burden. Sending love to you all <3

Was able to get life changing surgery here i live about 3 hours out and they were nothing but very accommodating and helpful, the staff and everyone who helped me were so nice and careful with me even provided me with a bunch of warm blankets when i was involuntary shaking after surgery, the staff always communicated and made sure I understood everything and that i knew what they were doing at all times, not to mention my surgery results were amazing same with recovery. I'm definitely recommending this place to other people who need the same surgery as me. They were helpful with finding a place for me to stay and making sure I made it back okay and kept checking in constantly and even kept my family in touch with how I was doing. Though I will say after hour communication is a little bit confusing and difficult but even so they got back to me pretty quickly. Inside the building was a bit confusing at first but if you know where you are going you can read the signs or ask someone for assistance!
